Connecting a payment provider
Payment providers
To sell paid classes, connect a Stripe or Square account. The money goes straight into that account.
Square
The fastest way is to press Connect with Square on Settings → Payments and sign in. FullClass fills in your Square details and keeps the connection renewed. You can still type your details in by hand if you prefer. Either way, test a payment before you go live. See Set up Square.
Stripe
Press Connect with Stripe on Settings → Payments and sign in. Before you go live, test a normal card and a card whose bank asks for an extra security check. See Set up Stripe.
None / manual
For free events, cash at the door, free places or phone bookings, you do not need a payment account. Record the payment on the booking and add a note saying how it was paid.
For more detail, see Taking payments.
Apple Pay and Google Pay
Customers can pay with one tap using Apple Pay or Google Pay. After you connect Stripe or Square, open Settings → Payments → Wallet payment domains. Every website where your widget appears is listed there. Click Register next to each one.
- Square checks your website automatically.
-
Stripe needs a small file added to your website first, at
/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association. Whoever looks after your website can add it. Some website builders do not allow this file, and on those Stripe cannot offer Apple Pay.
For the full steps and fixes, see Bookings & payments → Apple Pay and Google Pay.
