Tracking, analytics, and branding

Tracking and analytics

Tracking tells Google or Meta when people visit your booking page and when they book. You need it only if you use Google Analytics or Tag Manager, or run ads on Google, Facebook or Instagram. The owner sets it up under Settings → Tracking. You enter only the IDs, and FullClass builds the tags for you, so you never paste any code.

  • Google Analytics 4: your measurement ID, which looks like G-XXXXXXXX.
  • Google Tag Manager: your container ID, which looks like GTM-XXXXXX.
  • Google Ads: the conversion ID AW-XXXXXXXXX and the purchase conversion label, so bookings count as conversions. You need both. If you fill in only one, Google Ads records no conversions at all, so the settings page warns you until both are filled in.
  • Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram): your pixel ID, which is just digits, like 123456789012345. Find it in Meta Events Manager under Data sources. If you advertise on Instagram, this is what tells Meta which bookings came from your ads. Meta then uses that to choose who sees your ads and to build audiences from people who booked.

You do not need all of these. Each one works on its own, so a studio that advertises only on Instagram can fill in the Meta pixel and leave every Google field blank.

The tags run on your booking page, so they count page views and completed bookings there.

Who is responsible for the data

Your Meta pixel receives a page view, the value and currency of a purchase, the visitor's IP address, and Meta's own cookie. Your studio is the data controller for that, not FullClass. On the booking page FullClass hosts for you, visitors in the EU and UK are asked to accept or decline before the pixel records anything.

If your own website already runs Google Analytics

This part is for your web person if you put the booking widget on your own site. If that site already loads Google Analytics or Tag Manager, the widget does not load a second copy of your tags. It sends booking events (class viewed, added to cart, checkout, purchase) into the analytics you already run. They show up in your existing reports and are not counted twice.

Still enter your GA4 measurement ID under Settings → Tracking. That lets your booking page on FullClass report into the same GA4 property as your website, so that traffic is counted too. Leave Tag Manager blank unless you use only the booking page on FullClass.

If customers move between your website and your booking page on FullClass, add both your domain and app.fullclass.io to your GA4 property under Admin → Data streams → Configure your domains. That keeps each visit as one session, and stops your booking page showing up as a referral to your own site.

Keep test traffic out of your analytics

Your website's analytics tag may also run on test copies of your site (hosts like Netlify and Vercel give those their own addresses). If it does, your real GA4 property quietly fills with visits that are not real customers. Load your Google Analytics or Tag Manager tag only on your live domain, or add a GA4 internal-traffic filter. Then your reports and conversion counts stay clean before you go live.

Consent on your hosted booking page

Your booking page on FullClass (app.fullclass.io/b/...) sets a Google Consent Mode v2 default for visitors in the EEA and the UK. Ad and analytics storage start as denied until the visitor agrees, so tracking cookies are not set for them by default. Visitors outside the EEA and UK are not affected. It also does not change the widget on your own site, where your site's own consent banner stays in charge. If your studio is in Quebec, or anywhere else with similar rules, check whether you need visitors' consent before analytics or advertising cookies are set.

The booking page also shows a short Accept / Decline cookie bar to visitors who have not chosen yet, and remembers their choice on that device. Accepting allows analytics and advertising cookies. Declining keeps them off. Ignoring it leaves the region-based default above in place. If you want more consent choices (a switch per type of cookie, rules by country, your own privacy wording), take bookings on your own site with the embedded widget, behind your own consent tool.

Business settings and branding

Other owner-only settings are under Settings. On General you set your business name, billing email, billing address, website, fiscal year and report time zone. On Branding you set your logo, thumbnail, email logo and brand color. Admins see a shorter Settings menu, and only owners can open these pages.
